DRACO NOUVEAU TAROT

Hello everyone!

I'm so grateful for how far this campaign has come. Your support and love for my work are greatly appreciated.


I've had a very fun time searching for new Add-ons that are functional and also related to the project.


The two that made the most sense were a mini sketchbook (Also can be used as a notebook) and everyone's favorite Stickers!


STICKERS + MINI BLANK SKETCHBOOK

You can purchase a blank 3.5"x 5" notebook with two  2.5" x 4" stickers of The Sun & The Moon.

You can place these in your journal like the photo shown, or decorate the blank book yourself.  Please check out the poll attached to this update to see if the stickers will be clear or regular vinyl. 

These are perfect for traveling and jotting down quick notes or sketches. My mini Kraft sketchbooks frequently contain thumbnail drawings.

 

While I hope to offer more designs for the stickers, I need to start with one design set first.

That is The Sun and The Moon. If we can sell enough sticker sets, I will add the Lovers Tarot card along with the card back as stickers.


PRINTED SKETCHBOOK UNLOCKING AT 30K

Printed sketchbooks will have a printed front and back. Sample one shown, please see the poll attached for printed sketchbook cover options.

Also 3.5" x 5" These are the same as the blank sketchbooks, just printed with my illustration on them.

The two sketchbooks shown to the left are the normal vinyl sticker and the clear vinyl sticker. Showing what they look like on the journals.





I will add one other add-on set either this Thursday or next Tuesday. I am still waiting on some mockups.

Hello Everyone!

Just like that, we went straight past the stretch goal for the 2nd design of the leatherbound Unicorn and Dragon sketchbook/notebook.

I will be putting together an idea for that design early to mid-next week while I wait for the samples from the manufacturer.

My husband and I are so grateful for your support of this deck. We have decided to look at a new stretch goal for mini journals/sketchbooks. These would be soft-cover pocket notebooks with a leather cover or a double vinyl sticker on the front and back to mimic a Tarot Card.

My samples were going to be made today. Unfortunately, a shipment was delayed, and it arrived after we left for the Gallery this morning.

On another Tarot front, the Empress and the Emperor oil paintings are almost done for the Fantastically Human Art show with The Compass Gallery here in Provo Utah.

While these two won't be quite this vibrant for the final tarot cards, I loved how vibrant they got in the oil versions. Deadline to complete these two is next Thursday, wish me luck!

Good morning, everyone,

Kaitlund here with some add-on updates and new art samples.

First,  I have added the "I am Kind, not Weak" print. This is an open-edition print on heavy cardstock.

This is a favorite of mine, and it holds a special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy it. 



TAROT DESIGNS
Most of you are very excited about the border on the cards, so I decided to finish the official border that is sized for the Tarot Cards and not for print. 

I hope these will give you a better idea of each card's final look. The color of the border denotes which Arcana it belongs to. 

Gold for Major Arcana, red for wands, light blue for swords, dark blue for cups, and green for pentacles. 

The final colors/contrast are still being tweaked. Each card needs to be slightly lighter to work for the regular and vintage decks. I feel this really adds to the ethereal nature of the artwork. 

SKETCHBOOKS
Sketchbook add-ons have been available. If we reach 25,000, I will add the second design, Dragon and Unicorn, as a purchase option.

Here are the embossed plate samples on two different types of leather, I have decided to go with the lighter of the two.

If we sell fewer than 25 of these, they will be laser-engraved. Samples for the laser-engraved back and spine with the embossed front should be coming in the next week or two.

I had the plate made as a sample previously for the bookbag campaign, and it worked nicely for this project as well, to show what it could look like embossed.

Hello everyone! 

This is epic! My partner and I are so glad to have such fantastic support for the Draco Nouveau Tarot deck. We couldn't do this without you, and we appreciate you. 

20k flew by, and we unlocked the achievement faster than I thought we would. However, we won't be able to make a tier for the add-on item yet. We are still awaiting a response from my supplier, who should respond on Monday. 

Expect another update on Tuesday, after we get the final details. We can then allow the ability to purchase the journal/sketchbook.

What a wild ride, everyone!

I appreciate the support and love for this deck. Charles and I are working on what we can get for our stretch goal. As of right now, the Tapestries or Woven blankets still won't be likely, however, we have begun looking at Journals again.

Some of you may remember the "Ballad of Lythande" book purse project, while that is still on the docket (The sample will be coming soon) I am also getting samples of the sketchbook/journal of the same cover.

We figured this would fit your Draco Nouveau Tarot Journey and be a place to sketch your ideas or record your thoughts and card pulls.

I am awaiting final cost breakdowns from my manufacturer until it is solidified but this would more than likely be our 20k stretch goal.
